Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Large turnaround at the end of Spring Hill Rd for people to park. It's all paved. A few cars parked there when I arrived shortly before 11am and a couple still there when I returned around 3pm. The 1mi trail from Jay Ln starts from someone's driveway and is a very small cul-de-sac. You could probably park between the driveways and be okay but probably not the best place to park or start the hike. Room for a few cars to pull off the road and onto the dirt on Stoneymeade Way. Room for a few cars at Annursac Hill Conservation area on Strawberry Hill Rd as well. None there.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: As the guidebook says, the connecting trail to the loop from the end of Spring Hill Rd is blazed in red, and the main loop is blazed in yellow. The 1.0mi spur described in the guidebook between Spring Hill Loop and Jay Ln is blazed in red. I believe trails were pretty well blazed and easy to follow even with leaves obscuring the footbed a little at times. I do not recall any blowdowns. The Bay Circuit Trail was pretty regularly marked with its small markers tacked to trees.

Comments
Comments: 2nd redline of the day after a quick OAB on the Robbins Mill Pond Connector to Wheeler Ln just to the north. I started at the end of Spring Hill Rd, hiked the loop CCW, doing a very short OAB on a connecting piece of the BCT between the Spring Hill Loop and Nashoba Brook Loop that is blazed in red and from which a 0.1mi green blazed trail leads to some significant rocks, then went back to the BCT and descended to Jay Ln over Strawberry Hill along the BCT, and followed the BCT from Jay Ln to Strawberry Hill Rd, passing through Stoneymeade Conservation Area (Section 8 of the BCT in the AMC guidebook), then walked the roads listed above back to my car. The trails were dry and the BCT passed through some very nice areas on the western end of Stoneymeade. The road walk could be trecherous but also featured some very nice scenes. Gaia had me at about 8.2mi, 250ft of gain, 3hr7min
