I believe we parked where the guidebook described at Gate 6 on Salem St (shown on Gaia as becoming Middleton Rd here). Roadside pull-off parking with room for maybe a few cars. Only one there at 3:30 and 4pm. |

Sure. Dogs are allowed at Harold Parker State Forest but I'm not sure if there are specific leash restrictions or not. |

The trail is marked with white diamonds. I believe it was marked well but just watch for where it turns on/off roads and such. As I should have stated in my other trail repots for this state forest, I don't think that any of the trails are signed with the names given in the guidebook and I don't think I found a good online map with their names either. Just follow the colored diamonds.
Third and final hike of the day with Lil' Young. We followed the loop in clockwise, in the reverse direction of that described in the guidebook. I believe that the trails were dry and there was no or very little snow/ice but I'm sure that's different now. No Gaia stats for this one as I didn't start it until about a 1/2mi into the hike. |
