The trail is marked (and I think regularly) with blue diamonds. Not hard to follow and less random turns than on some of the other loops described in the forest in the guidebook.
What better excuse is there for a little evening redline than dropping Lil' Young at Logan?? I hiked the loop clockwise. There was a light covering of snow throughout so waterproof footwear recommended. While there's no real elevation gain on this hike, there did seem to be more itty bitty ups and downs than on other trails described in the guidebook for this park. The pond was partially frozen over. Gaia had me at 3.3mi, 60ft of gain, 1hr5min. |
