Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The guidebook says that it is marked with occasional blue blazes but other than a few blue blazes at the start, it is marked with yellow blazes and relatively frequently. The yellow blazed path braids at time which is a bit of a redliners nightmare but is easy to follow. Trail signs at some jcts. Not much more than a couple of leaners/widow-makers on trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Leashed dogs appear to be welcome.

Comments
Comments: Third and final hike of the day after Sandy Neck Barrier Beach and John Wing Trail. I hiked the loop clockwise and it was pretty dry with hardly any snow seen I believe. I'm sure that's changed after today. It follows the shoreline pretty closely but note that there is a section on the west side of the pond that hangs a little further back and is not labelled correctly on Gaia. Just follow the yellow blaze. Gaia had me at 3.2mi, 40ft of gain, 1hr8min.
