The packed trail seems too narrow for snowshoes and seemed to be done by bare boots and/or spikes only. We dod it with spikes only and carried the snowshoes just in case. Lots of pine needles on Jack Frost made for a cool backdrop and was chilly with no sun while in the trees. Good winter warmup hike. |
