Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: After hiking to my car in the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, my parents gave me a car spot over to Rt 1 where Section 2 of Warner Trails ends on what's shown on Gaia as High Rock Road. You could park roadside here I believe. Plenty of parking at the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary Parking area on Moose Hill Street.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Ice - Blue, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I don't think there was anything that wasn't bridged.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Warner Trail is usually marked with small disks tacked to trees. The guidebook says that it's marked with A's in the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary but I remember white markings instead. I do not recall any blowdowns.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs are not allowed within the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary but I believe they are allowed most or all other places along the Warner Trail but must be leashed.

Comments
Comments: 2nd redline of the day after Section 1. This section of the Warner Trail is a bit more interesting than the first section insofar that it's longer, has a bit more elevation gain, passes by some bodies of water, and even has a view or two! The most significant thing to note about this section of trail is that there is a no trespassing or private property sign at the end of Camp Rd where Gaia shows the trail is. I thus walked back out to North Street and accessed Edwards St via Young Rd but upon reached the portion of Edwards St where the supposed trail on Gaia dumps out on, I did indeed see trail markings here and no private property signs. I followed the trail into the woods to see where it connected to Camp Rd but the markers soon disappeared and I could not see any trail. This is all shmooshed between a couple of houses anyway and I didn't want to wander around too much so I just returned to Edwards St.

Microspikes were needed as it had rained and there was an icy coating over the snow that was very hard to punch through at times. Snow depth did not feel like much and like snowshoes would not have been worth it though I did notice it getting deeper around the summit of Moose Hill. The chimney and bluff south of it were cool spots. No accurate Gaia stats on this one, sorry.
