 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We parked on Egremont Rd where there's a mid-sized dirt lot with room for probably about a dozen cars. We were the only one there all day to the best of my knowledge (we hiked the section to the west earlier in the day with my parents). |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
I don't think there were any. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The AT is blazed in white. I don't recall frequency but it wasn't difficult to follow. I don't recall any blowdowns but that doesn't mean there weren't any... |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Sure but I'd have them on a leash as you'll be walking through an active farm. |

 | Comments: |
Second hike of the day after traversing from Egremont Rd to Jug End Rd with my parents earlier. This hike was to finish redlining Section 2 and do a small part of Section 3. The guidebook breaks the AT into some odd sections here so this is why we did it this way. Without a car spot, we turned the hike into a loop hiking from Egremont Rd, across West Rd and Rt 7 to Kellogg Rd, then walking Kellogg Rd, Rt 7 and Lime Kiln Rd back to the car. Trail conditions were very wet as it was raining steadily as we started our hike. I don't remember how much mud there was but I think there were at least a few spots. Some minor climbing on the west end of the trail but beyond that, the hike is very flat. Gaia had us at 4.3mi, about 200ft of gain 1hr38min. |
