One downed tree on Old Indian, but does not cover the whole trail. Can be either stepped over or walked around. |

Lots of mud today
Balance Rock trail had a lot of runoff on the trail, making it both wet and muddy. Shallow, but unpleasant. Some of it was avoidable, some was not.
Semuhenna trail was the muddy mess that I expected it to be, just a lot of it near the junction with West Side trail. There were also puddles on the trail in between West Side and Harrington, but mostly easy to avoid those.
The section on Harrington trail between Semuhenna and the summit was in good shape, just dry rock there.
Old Indian trail was in mostly good shape, but some here and there wet/muddy spots on it.
Overall manageable today, but Balance Rock and Semuhenna trails were in rough shape due to mud and water. It was starting to rain when I left (around noon) so it may be worse into the afternoon |
