Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked in the dirt parking area off of Boston Post Rd (Rt 20). The guidebook does not describe how to get there so I used a map online, and if I recall correctly, it was a bit difficult. It's just a couple hundred feet east of Nokomis Rd in Sudbuyr and is signed so you should be fine. Room for a half dozen to a dozen cars between two small dirt parking areas off of the main road that make a loop. Low clearance cars will probably want to exercise caution when entering/exiting the lot. I got picked up by Lyft on Edmands Rd just south of Nixon Rd and got a 10-15min ride back to my car for $12 or so.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Oh how familiar those BCT markers were!!! :P The BCT is also sometimes marked with white plastic markers tacked to trees. Most trail jcts are not signed. Small, trivial stepover 15min beyond Tippling Rock. A number of easy stepovers, all small-medium in size, in the section of trail that runs north-south just west of the Brimstone Estates/Carter, Woodstock, and Nobscot Drive followed by an exceptionally wet and muddy section all torn up by bikes, just before reaching Wayside Inn Rd that could maybe use some work as it's maybe a couple dozen feet. Larger stepover/straddler on the far side of Wayside Inn Rd. A mid-sized widwomaker above the trail shortly before the trail crosses Edmands Rd.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I think that dogs are allowed in this section (Weisblatt Conservation Land) but must be leashed. Good trails for dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: I think they were out and bad but not horrible.

Comments
Comments: A nice evening hike after redlining the Dike Trail in the Great Meadows National Wildlife Unit: Concord Unit in the afternoon. I traversed from Weisblatt Conservation Area/Tippling Rock to where the BCT crosses Edmands Rd just SE of Gibbs Mtn (it crosses Edmands Rd more than once). More elevation on this part of the BCT than most others as it climbs to its highest point on Nobscot Hill and Tippling Rock, both close to the start of the hike. Trails were mostly dry but mixed with some mud as well, particularly one awful standout part mentioned in the trail maintenance section above. Nice views toward a small city (not sure which) from Tippling Rock. The trail makes a very sharp left when it reaches Nobscot Hill; do not continue down the service road but look behind you to the left for a footpath when you reach the summit. The first time the trail reaches Edmands Rd, it seems to not walk along the side of the narrow road, but walks on the other side of the stone wall in Harrington Field but eventually the grass becomes much too high, no discernible path, and you presume it goes back in the road. A bit awkward especially if trying to redline the trail. Make sure to do the 0.3mi spur out to Brimstone Ln (shown on Gaia). One way to do this hike would be to make a lollipop loop, going over Nobscot Hill, then walking a short portion of Nobscot Drive and Brimstone Ln to the 0.3mi spur and hiking back along it to the car. As the guidebook mentions, there's parking along Edmands Rd at the entrance to Callahan State Park just 0.2mi east of where the trail crosses Edmands Rd just SE of Gibbs Mtn. Gaia had me at 7.2mi, 750ft of gain, 2hr30min.
