 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked in the large gravel lot off of Hartford St. Make sure to take the first left as if you continue straight, there's no way to take another left into the hiker parking and staying straight which just take you to the athletic fields. The lot is very large and can hold dozens of cars. I think there was less than a half dozen at both 5:45 and 7pm. It's $6 to park for non-members. They have a digital pay station that takes cars. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I don't recall any blowdowns. Orange and Red trails are infrequently blazed with their respective colors; I don't think the other trails on Cedar Hill Loop were marked in any way. Trails are pretty easy to follow and usually marked at jcts. They could use a sign at the summit of Cedar Hill where there's no blazing or sign to indicate which way the view loop goes and there's two multiple paths that leave the summit. Where the Orange Trail turns sharply right on the west side of the loop, they could use a double blaze or a sign. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Dogs are allowed and there are both on and off-leash areas. Good trails for them. |

 | Bugs: |
Mosquitos were out. First time this year I remembered the bug spray lol! |

1st post-work hike of the day to finish up the trails that I began here yesterday. Route: Chickering Pond Trail (west) to Bridle Path and back to --> Chickering Pond (east) to Noanet Trail --> Cedar Hill Trail --> View Loop --> Tower Trail --> Chickering Pond Trail west a few feet to jct with Ridge Trail --> Chickering Pond Trail (east) back to car --> Orange Trail (loop). I mucked up the Orange Trail a bit as I stayed straight/left where the trail turns sharply right and cut across to the other side of the loop via a short side path so my mileage is a bit longer than what it should be. The trails were dry as far as I recall. I did not see many others out. Gaia had me at 3.4mi, 225ft of gain, 1hr6min. |
