Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked at the southern of the two lots which seems to be the most popular. It was mostly full (but still several spaces) when I arrived around 7:30pm but was empty when I returned around 9:15pm. The northern lot mostly empty at both times. Both have room for many dozen cars.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The loops are marked with their respective colors. Other loops elsewhere in the park can be marked with the same color. Consult the map online (link below) for kore information. I think there were a few blowdowns on the Abigail Adams Trail which is the northern half of the red loop). Some trail jcts have signs. There are no double blazes and I found it very easy to miss turns along the loop without signs at each jct and with the blazing not being terribly frequent. They did seem to try and place blazes on trees in a way that tried to indicate which way the trail turned.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: They are allowed everywhere but the beach on Houghton's Pond and must remain leashed.
Bugs
Bugs: I don't think they were too bad but that may have just been due to the bug spray I put on last hike.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: 2nd post-work redline of the day after finishing up the trails in nearby (15-20min drive without traffic) Rocky Woods. Route: Clockwise loop around Green Loop, then at the jct with the stick part of the lollipop (Red and Green Loops are both lollipop loops), I took a very sharp left and headed on a path that lead to the Summit Road, then hiked the Red Loop clockwise around the summit, doing an OAB on the section between the Summit Road and the split in the Red Loop. This part of the trail is called Abigail Adams Trail. It starts a short distance north of the southern part of the loop along the road/trail. I did this section in the dark and I found it rather difficult to find but once I was on it, it was fine. Red Loop is rocky and eroded and while never truly steep by a White Mountain standard does not always ascend gently or easily either. A pitch or two on the Green Loop that is on the steeper side as well. I was surprised to see almost no one else out hiking. Gaia had me at 4.5mi, 600ft of gain, 1hr37min.
