Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Very large paved parking area with room for many dozen, maybe a couple hundred cars where Hillside St in Milton bends north. Many people there but not crazy busy and still an abundance of room to park around 4:45pm. Less people there when I returned around 6:15pm.
Surface Conditions

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trails are marked with circular disks and paint blaze with their respective colors. I found this area to be a bit more frequently marked than Great Blue Hill. One large leaner above the trail on the yellow loop. Jcts are not marked.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs are allowed (but never on the beach) but must be leashed at all times. Good trails for dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: I think I hardly noticed them unless maybe I stopped.

Comments
Comments: 1st post-work hike of the day to redline green and yellow loops. I hiked a clockwise loop around green first, then yellow. Not many people on green, but obviously a good number of people on yellow, predominatnly the beach area on the north side. Scenic enough. Only thing to watch out for is the very sharp left turn back to the pond/yellow loop after completing the green loop. I'll also note that there was a group playing obnoxiously loud music in the parking lot for a short time, then a group of people at the parking area off of Blue Hill River Rd who were letting their kids (one group VERY young) drive around in some rather fast motor vehicles. They weren't getting close to anyone but the noise, the fact the kids were so young to be driving ANYTHING let alone something so fast, the fact that you'd do that in a nature-y sort of place, and the possible legality of it, all had me almost calling the cops. I try not to be negative, but I guess my point is that if you come here, be prepared for such things. Gaia had me at 3.6mi, 225ft of gain, 1hr10min.
