 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Only problem we encountered was going over Fay Mountain Orchard. The current routing has the trail go along the east edge of the orchard. The orchard workers have pruned a number of the fruit trees and they have found the blazed Midstate trail a convenient place to throw all the brush, making it impassable. We had to bushwhack through the orchard for a while. |

 | Bugs: |
There were some black flies beginning to make an appearance but they didn't seem too hungry yet. We didn't see any ticks. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
Found a pair of sunglasses. |

Did a section of the Midstate from Rt 20 to Rt 9, south to north, about 11.5 miles. Nice weather. Thanks to Mrs Greatoz and to Mr and Mrs Snapsquatch, as well as Dead Man Walking (DMW). |
