| Comments: |
The trail was well broken out. It was firm in the morning but especially lower down the snow was getting quite soft in the afternoon. Snowshoes recommended for the lower section as the day warms up. Near the summit the snow is very deep and you find yourself pushing through tree branches and walking bent over. The last .3 of a mile is very tedious for that reason. |
