mt. blue road is in fine shape though is quite narrow so watch for oncoming traffic. |

mt. blue trail is in good condition and work is clearly in progress to do more rock hardening in a number of areas. some minor mud, but mostly dry trail. a nice early morning hike up in order to meet friends for another hike later in the morning. though short the trail gains some significant elevation and makes for a grind up to the top. great views from various vistas and from the new tower platform on the summit. cool breeze and clear skies promised a good day to come.
