Parking/Access Road Notes: Caribou Valley Road ends at metal bridge. Parking for 10-15 vehicles. About a half mile to AT.

Water Crossing Notes: Water high on South Branch. Plank gets you across without getting wet.

Bugs: A little bit of everything. Nice off and on breeze kept them away most of the hike.

Comments: Trail climbing to Sugarloaf really wet. 360 views at summit. Trail
between peaks mostly level, fast & dry. No views from Spaulding. Met
some AT section hikers really slowed down by heat & humidity.
