Comments
Comments: Did this as a bike spot - left bike at Speck Pond TH and then hiked the loop up the Notch Trail to the Mahoosuc Trail northbound to Old Speck - came out Speck Pond Trail.

Was having a fun time in Mahoosuc Notch until I slipped and fell backwards onto a sharp rock, then, was just hoping it would end - blood and bruises in several places - glad I brought the duct tape. My hat goes off to any through hiker with a large pack. I kept asking myself each time I'd see the arrows pointing into a cave with a TINY exit, "You've got to be kidding me!!!"

Fun to see some brook trout in the pools in Shelter Brook - I almost NEVER see that!

Fine day, fine views, and quite a few people!
