all crossings done with ease and dry shoes. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
trails are in excellent condition with the exception of a few minor blowdowns on the Eyebrow trail, all easily walked over. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
didn't see a single dog. Hell, only saw one other human! The Eyebrow trail would not be good for a dog, but the ascent via the Old Speck trail would be fine for a fit dog. |

Awesome hike despite the summit being in the clouds. Peak foliage and not a soul to share it with. This was my first hike in the Grafton Notch area but I hope to come back and explore more of the Mahoosucs and other peaks. Maine rocks for hiking! |
