Bare-booted much of the trail to the junction with the Eyebrow Trail. Shortly after heading up, ran into some long stretches of hard ice. Crampons were definitely more helpful than snowshoes would have been. Some steeper sections towards the top made climbing tough but not impossible. Some snow drifts around the summit. |
