Comments
Comments: We (Gordon Bubois, Dick Widhu, Peter Crane) were very fortunate to have the active logging operation going so we could drive in to the summer parking area. We used the skidder tracks to get us further up to the col through open woods, on the ridge we followed a herd path toward N. Kennbago to the bottle used as a canister. Back at the point we entered the ridge we decided to set the bearing straight toward White Cap. I would not recomend this route, lots of low thick growth. Once to the ridge on White Cap we followed what appeared to be the summer 'trail', marked by occasional tape on trees, to the peak. Returning we retraced our tracks along the WC summit ridge until losing any markings and we descended down a steep slope through more thick trees. I would recommend descending earlier along the summit ridge, we finally entered an open area that brought us back to skidder tracks which we followed back to the vehicle.
