Parked at first open plowed turn around on right on Snow Mountain Road about 1 mile up from Wiggle Brook Rd - active logging further up road. Getting here we used Tim Pond Rd, Bear Brook Rd, and Wiggle Brook Rd. |

From parking spot, we walked back down the road until reaching a cleared area with view to Snow Mountain. Snow of 6"-8" new powder on a frozen crust. Total depth of about 2' but crust was firm enough to support our weight. Took advantage of recently logged area and skidder tracks to their limit. Continued through thick undergrowth for several hundred feet until more open woods reached. Very open woods on summit ridge so we followed herd path to peak. |
