| Comments: |
Plenty of parking off Rt. 27. Followed the North Road, packed by snowmobile traffic, for about 4 miles and contined on the summer trail for another 2 miles. This section was well traveled by snowmobiles. Found the summer trail that cocntined at a sharp turn, where snow mobile traffic continued to the left. and the trail entered the woods. The trail is not marked but is clearly visable in the woods. Snow on the fire wardens trail was not packed and we broke trail in about 3-4 feet of snow for 1 mile to the summit with old fire tower. |
