Comments: Do not let the Spring weather fool you. This mountain is still 100% a snowshoe hike. There is roughly 4 feet of snow up there. The signs near the summit were ground level. The snow is so high near the top that you will need to crouch to walk because the tree branches are at chest level.

I was the first one on the trail. Wore microspikes for the first half mile and had to switch to snowshoes. It was unbroken and hard to navigate due to few/hard to see trail markers. I sucessfully navigated and broke trail to the summit. There was one time when elevation got steep that I was sliding down alot and was in snow knee deep. I passed about 5-6 snowshoers on the way down so they helped flatten out the trail. Also passed 3 barebooters...Thanks guys for tearing up the trail and for all the lovely post holes! Not sure why you did not have snowshoes...anyways that is another story.

All in all it was a great day. Trail should be easy to follow now. I can see this being very difficult do climb once the snow softens up more.
