 | Comments: |
The snow in the col that was mentioned in a 5/1 conditions report has mostly melted, with about 6-7 very short sections that are filled with soft snow. These sections are so short that it's not worth putting on showshoes, although you'll posthole somewhat in these patches of snow. There was a lot of running water over rocks and large puddles in the col. Ski trails alternated between large snow patches, mud, and rocks. Barebooted all day except for one short section in the col where we put on snowshoes, not realizing that section only lasted about 200 feet. |
