Comments: Used Peppersass's trip report and it was a big help. Thanks again!
The road was flooded at the beginning and had to go thru tall grass
and wet ground to avoid. Took left at 1/3 mile and then straight thru
next intersection. This led to large clearing. Found cairn in right
corner and started up skidder path. Did not see arrow 50 ft from cairn
but found easy going up skidder path and thru woods. Hit herd path
around 3400' and it took me to the canister. Followed herd path all
the way down taking rights when needed and ended up at the arrow by
the cairn. Turns out I was never too far from herd path. Saw 2 bear
and one very pregnant moose cow early on hike. Got back to truck and
put on fresh hiking pants, socks and boots and headed to Quebec and
Boundary Peak.
