The trail is more rugged than I was expecting from descriptions and pictures. Lots of scrambling and picking routes above treeline below tablelands. Had planned to get Hamlin Peak as well, but decided not to once I got to the intersection with the Saddle Trail. I decided it was better to not be as tired going down the Hunt Trail than to push it with grabbing both peaks. |
