Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I don't recall any actual crossings on this section.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The upper part of Eyebrow is choked with blowdowns, a sign at the kiosk states as much (of course we didn't see that coming from above). Some work has been done on the lower section, but the upper still remains. The 2.1 miles of Grafton Loop south of East Baldpate to the tentsite had numerous blowdowns, difficult and slow going. Lots of work is needed in this section.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few out with their people having a good day.
Bugs
Bugs: Again, not terrible during the day while moving, but once at East Baldpate Tentsite, the mosquitoes descended. Thankfully the coming rain and dark clouds held them somewhat at bay.

Comments
Comments: Day 2 of a 3 day Grafton Loop. This part kicked our as*es, not so much Old Speck, but the climb back up to the Baldpates. Saw many people while coming down from Old Speck, and while climbing up the Baldpates (especially at Table Rock). The aforementioned blowdowns on Grafton Loop were a pain, and even the trail to the water source (Wight Brook) from our campsite was blocked by blowdowns. We had intended to camp at Lane, but the blowdowns and drizzle slowed us considerably, and we decided to call it 1.8 miles short of the goal. Heavy rain through the night, but we stayed nice and dry.
