Water Crossing Notes: Nothing deep, but a fair amount of mud and standing water in some limited areas. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: We were fortunate. As we descended from The Horns there was a couple coming up who had cleared the next few miles of the AT with a chainsaw from a number of blowdowns. Thanks to them!

Bugs
Bugs: mosquitos were moderate down lower. Not a bug on Avery or West peak but loads of them on the Horns.
