| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking here: 45°17.006'N, 70°40.262'W
Drove the road to the parking area yesterday without an issue. This morning there was a tree down 0.5 miles before the parking area. Cut branches with my Leatherman until I could drive over them with the Rav4. Other than that, the road is in great shape |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Bridged or nothing to worry about |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The actual trail is lightly maintained with all major obstacles cut out of the way. Ribbon in trees at potentially confusing spots |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
None seen, but they could do it fine I suspect |
|
| Bugs: |
Lots at the parking area. Got slightly better as you climbed |

| Comments: |
I'll be back in the area in a couple weeks on vacation and will try to clean up the blow down on the road better then.
Hike up the trail past the third bridge, take a right onto a narrow ATV trail (looks like a brook) at a yellow arrow pointing left (small cairn on large rock). Turn right at cairn where the atv path meets a skidder road. Follow this until you cross the summit trail marked with a small cairn and flagging |
