Comments
Comments: Wonderful trail heading over to Mt. Coe. The slide was pretty easy except for the very top which provided some slippery rock excitement. Pick your best line and take your time. I would not recommend heading down this way.

This loop hike provides wonderful views of the Klondike region of Baxter State Park from all peaks including Davis Pond from the top of North Brother and the far side of Fort. (Has anybody ever hiked into the Klondike?). There are also great views of Hamlin, Baxter Peak, Knife's edge and Pamola.

The hike over to Fort was a challenge but not too difficult. We took our time going left at the first possible fork and then right at the second. These forks take place very early during the hike. This bushwhack took us about 1 hour 15 minutes each way. After hiking it in shorts I would recommend pants for this part of the hike.

Great day hiking with John C. Congratulations to John for hiking HH numbers 96, 97 and 98 (and for finally catching up to me!).
