| Comments: |
We started up a series of clear cuts on a heading towards the White Cap NPKD call. We initially had easy woods. Things got thicker on the way to NPKD and the trees were covered in wet snow. We struggled to stay on the path from NPKD to White Cap and got hung up on the shoulder of WC. There were occasional thick woods. We bushwacked to the swath at DBP in moderate woods. We made the long walk to Boundary and back to DBP. At the start of this hike there was two to six inches of snow cover, persistent rain throughout the afternoon left standing and running water throughout the route. We were soaked. |
