Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot on Route 4 is not plowed and already has a decent 2' hard packed snowbank in front of it. However where the AT crosses Beech Hill Rd. there is a plowed parking spot just 1/10 mile past it. You lose about 3/4 of a mile of the trail each way.

Comments
Comments: From trailhead to near summit where the "Base Lodge" trail intersects was fresh powder ranging from 4"-8". Above tree line there were some 2' drifts but not worth bringing the snowshoes for. A few spots will be easier with creepers.
