Comments
Comments: The weather gods were with me today. Headed out at 6:30AM under clear skys. The summits were in the clouds but as I approached Hamlin Peak it cleared. The wind on Hamlin Ridge knocked me off balance several times. Leaving Hamlin Peak into the Saddle, Baxter Peak was in and out of the clouds. By the time I reached Baxter, it was in the clear. The wind was still strong so I decided not to climb down Helon Trail via the Knife's Edge, next time... I head back down Baxter and took the Saddle trail down and enjoyed the views from Chimney Pond.
