Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at Sugarloaf. If you park here, park in Lot C and stop by the desk. They keep a list of hikers, where they're hiking and return time. Very hiker friendly staff. The woman I spoke with said her husband is on the local search and rescue team and they get a lot of thru hikers who stop by.

Comments: Sugarloaf Maintenance Road, Sugarloaf spur, Appalachian Trail, Spaulding Summit Spur, Abraham Slide Trail

A long day, but an easy hike. Ice is all but gone, easily avoidable with a few 20 yard sections where extra care is needed. But easily done without traction. Trail crews were out taking care of the trails.
