Did this as a two day backpack. Spectacular stretch of trail that had been on my watch list for several years. Finally had time and weather to pull it off. AT is in phenomenal shape. Some spots are starting to fill in with a lot of leaf litter. Views forever with peak foliage. If you need any of these peaks and have time this week get up there. The leaves will be past peak shortly. I posted Strava links to my GPS track on the Facebook 4000 footer in NH group, if you have any interest to see that kind of thing. Spent all day hiking Tuesday alone, it was heaven.
This was a tough one for a two day sleepover. Bring your spare legs. |
