Parking/Access Road Notes: I was 1st at 6AM with 5 other vehicles at 10AM. Room for about 20 vehicles and a vault toilet, no fee site.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: Several easy rock hops.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of step over blowdowns in the wilderness area.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw one dog.

Bugs: Mosquitoes down low in the woods but manageable.

Comments: A nice sunny morning with temps from 55 to 75. Saw 2 hikers and a dog on Mud Brook Trail. The other hikers from the other vehicles must have hiked on the Caribou Trail.
