 | Comments: |
The snow was melted in most places, but in shaded areas there was a lot of wet snow. Sometimes the monorail held, and sometimes I ended up postholing. I don't recommend snowshoes or traction because you would end up having to take them off and put them back on constantly. There were a number of puddles and between them and the snow my shoes were quickly soaked through. The warming hut up on Saddleback was open and provided a nice spot for a quick respite. |
