First thing you get to do when you get out of the car is take off your boots and cross a brook. Maybe 20-25' wide, knees dry if you're careful. Don't let it deter you. |

Trail in great shape. No snow to speak of though some lingers nearby in the shadows. Go easy on the wet ledges. If you aren't familiar with this trail, know that the upper sections are gorgeous but extremely exposed. Not a good hike if there's any chance of lightning. Be sure to do the extra bit to Saddleback Wind - it looks long when you're on Bald but it's not! You won't regret it. |
