 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Was able to drive to a parking area just before the crossing of Rapid Stream. A truck with higher clearance and 4WD can actually drive to the summer trailhead. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Black, Snow - Drifts, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All crossing were either hoppable or bridged. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple of blowdowns along the route. Nothing major. There are two new relo sections before the shelter. Both are well blazed and marked by survey tape but the ground has not discernable treadway. |

 | Comments: |
Very little snow down low and only increased to about 6" up high. Wore microspikes all day. Some knee deep drifts above treeline but mostly very firm snow conditions all around. Very windy at the summit with interesting intermittent views thru the snow squalls. |
