Comments
Comments: Epic hike.... started up the HelonTaylor trail which is a butt kicker. Muggy below tree line but it was cool and dry above with a light breeze.... perfect! Hazy in the distance but clear. Knife edge is so much fun. The chimney is tough with minor hand and foot placement but rewarding. Summit very busy with cops hiking for fallen officers in the line of duty. Still some patches of snow hanging on. Love the hike down to the saddle slide, seeing North Brother, South Brother, Coe right in front of ya is awesome. Running water on the lower part of the saddle trail. A must stop to chimney pond on my way out. Streams were flowing pretty good making the sounds of the forest really nice. Really a beautiful park.
