This is less a bushwhack and more of an unofficial trail. First .9 miles is straight up on an extension of the dirt road you drove in, becomes a grass trail at the start then more of a dirt trail. The county line boundary cut is easy to find on the left side at .9 miles. Easy to see primitive yellow blazes on the trees going off the left in a straight line, plus there was a small cairn. Found a small cairn on my right after about .35 miles (right around 3300') on the boundary line and headed up an easy to follow herd path for about .25 miles directly to the top. No trail peaks don't get any easier than this. |
