Comments
Comments: I lucked out when I saw 2 cars parked where I parked. I didn't have to search for the trailhead. the sign for the trail is 100 yards up the trail. my 2nd hike for the day and one I've wanted to do for a while. the 2 cars yielded 5 hikers and I saw 12 for the up and down hike of the trail. the trail itself is in good shape, but the wet and slippery roots and rocks made for tough going. the views up top were very good. the bushwack over to the true summit was very thick and difficult!!! I did find the jar and other "stuff" at the highpoint. the return bushwack was slightly better.
