Comments
Comments: caribou trail in good condition with quick walking up to the notch and junction with mud brook trail. from the trail junction i took a direct line up gammon and found good going to the summit, but for some thick patches of hobblebush. summit is recognized in two spots. all register materials have been consolidated into the larger jar on what looks to be the slightly higher bump. back on mud brook trail to caribou and down to the trailhead there were some minor wet/muddy spots, but mostly dry trail. summit ledges were dry. views fairly hazy today, but still very nice.
