Comments
Comments: Generally followed the West Mountain Double and Timberline Quad chairlift lines, staying on the sides of the groomed trails. Just above ski area buildings on Sugarloaf summit was still rocky. From there to Spaulding hadn't been used since the recent snowstorms - a good foot or more of powder on top of multiple feet of base - probably 4 feet or so of snow altogether. Route we broke out is generally true to the trail, with a few exceptions due to blowdowns. Unlike previous day on Saddlebacks, encountered zero ice today. No sign of any use of Appalachian Trail up from CVR or heading toward Abraham.
