Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: In Byron, I took the dirt road across from Coos Canyon Campground. At a fork, the left road goes to campsites and I went right. I followed this steeply uphill where it got rough and parked at a junction.

Comments
Comments: From the parking, I took to the woods and used old roads and bushwhacks to make progress towards Old Turk. The woods were mainly open until near the recognized summit, where it got sprucy. I walked the ridge towards Record Hill, finding open woods and roads/paths much of the way. I hit some tight hardwood regrowth near Record Hill. From the summit, I worked my way down to roads, which I used to connect to my startpoint. I hit some tough regrowth working my way down.
