||Dreary start to the day, but progressive clearing by the time we cleared to open views. Any wet spots or mud insignificant despite rain last night.|
Bright sun with patchy fair weather clouds provided excellent views to N and W, and S. Just a few people enjoying the day. Absolutely spectacular day and area; trees just turning to foliage here and there. Excellent 'warmup' hike to get back to fall season, if a little late, some quad/knee work just below treeline. Terrific to do this with Evan.
