Check in with main desk at ski lodge to inform them of your intentions to climb Saddleback. They will direct you to the trails open for hiking. Warming hut about 3/4 of way to summit of Saddleback. From Saddleback to The Horm follow AT. Trail may be difficult to find when entering cols between Saddleback and Saddleback Horn. Also be prepared for deep drifts and winds on 2 miles of exposed ridge above treeline. Br prepared to cover all exposed areas. |
