Comments
Comments: A good warm up hike before the winter. Lots of boot traffic so track is a bit rough with minor post holing but packed down enough to bear weight - so boots are fine. Mix of frozen granular and packed snow - softening a bit in the afternoon. There are a few stretches of ice that can be avoided or easily handled with light traction. Nice views as always up top. Bald peak trail was broken out though not consolidated - lots of traffic up the ledges trail so I assume it is also hard packed.
