Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The Shagg pond road wasn't plowed all the way to the trailhead just past Shagg pond the plow truck turn around had plenty of room to park 4-5 cars. If it was snowing parking here would be a problem for the plow to turn around but otherwise it seems ok. This added a couple hundred yards to the trailhead but it was easy and well packed out by snow machines and skiers.

Comments: Broke trail with snowshoes through deep powder today on Bald mountain loop trail and to the summit of Speckled mountain and left a beautiful trail behind us. It was a winter wonderland up there today with killer views it was very quiet and its been a while since anyone has been through its now snowshoe prime and ready for others to enjoy!
