Comments
Comments: Perfect day. 0-5mph winds all day! Everything is mostly windswept. There are a few pockets of break through snow. Ski trails are mostly hardpack and windpack. Some ice areas. A few pockets of powder. Seemed to be more powder on west side of each ski trail. Ridge mostly windswept with many bare patches. Icy patches were avoidable. Some looser deeper snow when first descending Saddleback toward the Horn. Once half way down to the col could switch to micro spikes all the way to the summit of the Horn. Found several spruce traps. I'm guessing our track will soon be blown in with snow.
